On November 24, 2016 Christopher Cole Thomas and two co-workers took a trip from Minnesota to North Carolina. On Cole’s return to Minnesota he and his co-workers stopped in Benson, North Carolina. Cole was last seen during the early morning hours of November 25, 2016 near the intersection of East Morgan Street and North Elm Street in Benson.
 
At the time of Cole’s disappearance, he was wearing a baseball cap, blue t-shirt with black long sleeves, and dark colored pants. Cole has brown/blonde hair, has blue eyes, is 6’1” tall and weighs 200 lbs. Thomas also has a tribal style tattoo on left chest and shoulder.
 
The Benson Police Department requested the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI)and they began investigating the circumstances surrounding Cole’s disappearance, including conducting numerous searches in Johnston and Wayne County.
 
While in North Carolina, Cole spent several hours in the Mount Olive area of Wayne County prior to his disappearance.
 
A $50,000.00 reward is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Christopher Cole Thomas.
