Case Description: On Sunday, January 7, 1996 at 3:10 a.m. in Cumberland County, Fort Bragg soldiers Jermaine Willis and Lesean Thomas were leaving the Fort Bragg NCO Club. While stopped at an intersection, a vehicle pulled alongside their vehicle. The occupant(s) fired a .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun into the soldiers' vehicle.
Specialist Willis was shot and killed. Thomas was wounded in the attack.
