GASTONIA – A joint investigation by the Cramerton Police Department and the SBI’s Diversion and Environmental Crimes Unit resulted in the arrest of a Cramerton man yesterday.
Vic Roshey Watson, 63, was arrested prior to the execution of a search warrant at his Cramerton residence. Watson is accused of selling Controlled Substances to multiple individuals in and around his residence within the Cramerton community.
Watson was charged with three counts of Trafficking in Opium or Heroin, one count of Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, one count of Maintaining a Vehicle or Dwelling for a Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of a Firearm by Felon. All of these charges represent felonies to be prosecuted by the Gaston County District Attorney’s Office.
After his arrest, Watson was presented to a magistrate before being held without bond in the Gaston County Jail. Watson is scheduled to have a first appearance before a judge later today.
