Local, State, and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies Arrest Several Individuals
Accused of Sexually Exploiting or Soliciting Children
 
Gastonia, NC – A joint press conference will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, on the arrest of more than a dozen individuals across the state accused of sexually exploiting or soliciting children. The arrests are part of Operation Winter Guardian which included more than 40 local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies working together as part of the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The Gaston County Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation will be in attendance for the press conference as well as other law enforcement agencies from across the state.
