The State Bureau of Investigation and 12 law enforcement jurisdictions will hold a news conference Friday to provide information on a four-month heroin operation investigation that resulted in a series of searches and arrests. Heroin related overdoses in the Triad this year led state and local law enforcement to join forces to dismantle a heroin operation.

The SBI, sheriffs, police chiefs and their representatives from 12 jurisdictions will be present.
