(PINEHURST, NC) - The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is announcing an UPDATE regarding the officer-involved shooting case in the Village of Pinehurst that occurred yesterday. The SBI can now confirm that the deceased is 37-year-old Sawyer Felton Frye. The investigation by the SBI is ongoing, and no further details are currently available.
