(ROBERSONVILLE, NC) - On Thursday, January 30, 2025, at approximately 4:46 pm, the Robersonville Police Department and the Martin County Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of West Academy Street and North Roberson Street in Robersonville, North Carolina. The initial call indicated a male had been shot. Upon arrival, officers and deputies located Patrick Adams with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Adams was transported to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville by Robersonville EMS. He is listed in critical but stable condition. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) was requested to assist with the investigation. The Martin County Sheriff's Office and the Williamston Police Department also aided in the initial stages of the investigation. No further details are available at this time.
