A woman was scheduled to appear in a Lenoir County courtroom today on drug trafficking charges following her arrest Monday, by the State Bureau of Investigation.
The SBI’s Diversion and Environmental Crimes Unit arrested Joline Danielle Able, 26, of LeGrange, on one felony count of trafficking in opiates and one felony count of obtaining controlled substances by fraud.
Able obtained multiple Oxycodone tablets through fraudulent activities.
Able was booked into the Lenoir County jail after being given an $110,000 secured bond by the magistrate.
Able and two other individuals arrested Monday, are part of a larger drug ring. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
The investigation began after Eastern Urology in Greenville, provided information to the SBI.
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest of Able.
