SBI Investigating Former Ranlo Police Chief

Raleigh, NC - On March 5, 2020, at the request of Gaston County District Attorney Locke Bell, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation began an investigation into former Ranlo Police Chief Timothy Scott Anderson.  The investigation pertains to money paid to Anderson while employed as Chief and Interim Town Manager.  Because this is an ongoing investigation, no additional information is available at this time.
