The SBI and the Surry County Sheriff’s Office to Hold
Press Conference on Cold Case Arrest
 
 
Dobson, NC - On Thursday, April 7, 2022, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and the Surry County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference to discuss the arrest of Warren Luther Alexander. Alexander is the suspect in a 30-year-old cold case. He was arrested last month in Mississippi for the murder of Nona Cobb. Alexander was extradited back to North Carolina on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
