A Wilson County Man was sentenced to 12 years for methamphetamine drug conspiracy in federal court this week.  Kyle Robert Perry, 27, of Kenly, North Carolina, was arrested as part of an Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force Operation (OCDETF).  The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office and the Wilson Police Department worked together to investigate this case.  When officers conducted a search of Perry’s home, agents from the SBI Clandestine Unit were called in due to the hazardous nature of items found inside that were used to manufacture methamphetamine.  This week’s sentencing is a testament to strong partnerships when multiple law enforcement agencies work together for the betterment of the communities we serve.  That is why SBI Director Robert Schurmeier is committed to combating drug trafficking in and around the state of North Carolina.
